Eos
Alarm for Android
An alarm that only stops once you clear a mission. Then it opens the morning log: weather, sea, tide, your day and the news.
Download Eos
Android 8 or newer. Not on Google Play, so Android asks before it installs.
What it does
- Missions to stop the alarmMemory tiles, maths, typing, steps, shake, a QR code or a photo. One or two per alarm, or none.
- Rings on the Alarm volumeNot media volume, and over the lock screen. Vibrate-only alarms too.
- The morning logWeather and sea for where you are, tide, today's calendar and the top news, read aloud if you like.
- The week at dawnA report from your real wake-ups: the catch, the month at dawn and a picture to share.
- Focus voyagesFocus and break timers drawn as a dhoni sailing between islands, with a ship's bell at the end.
- Rain and storm heads-upOne notice a few hours before heavy rain or storms, quiet at night.
Install
- Tap Download Eos on your Android phone.
- Open the file. If Android asks, allow Install unknown apps for your browser or Files app, then tap Install.

Updates
Download the new version from this page and install it over the old one. Your alarms and history stay. Every version is signed with the same key, and Android refuses an update that isn't. The key's SHA-256 fingerprint:
7B:2A:F3:F4:A4:D2:9D:08:CD:B1:49:42:B7:D0:01:83:B4:82:2D:A7:B4:5A:70:4B:75:0F:12:93:7D:73:35:47
Privacy
No account and no tracking. Your alarms and wake-ups stay on the phone. Eos only goes online to fetch weather and tide from Open-Meteo and headlines from Google News.
